Border Patrol is a retro-style game in which you play as Mr. Hopperstopper, an orange businessman in a suit trying to defend the border from increasingly aggressive waves of hoppers.

With every wave, hoppers of various kinds will cross the border and try to go below the screen. When this happens, the border loses health. To prevent this, you can arrest hoppers, either by having them touch Mr. Hopperstopper or by touching the deportation bus at the bottom of the screen. You can also place border guards who will stand guard and arrest any hoppers that run into them. Additionally, you can place walls to help slow down the movement of hoppers. Be careful what you place, though! Some hoppers counteract protective measures! They are:

-Abdul: Abdul will blow up if he touches your walls, eliminating any other hoppers, walls, or guards around him, as well as detonating any other nearby abduls! He has a beard and a white hat.

-Pablo: Pablo is very rich! If he comes into contact with a border guard, he will bribe the guard, removing him from the game! Be careful to keep him away from your guards! However, if you catch him yourself or with the bus, you get a lot of money! Pablo wears a brown, striped polo shirt.

Additionally, there's Jose. Jose is just your average, run-of-the-mill hopper. Walls slow him down and guards arrest him (as do you and the bus). He just wants to get past your defenses and lower the border health!

If you need to make money and you can't catch Pablo, walk to one of the border booths on either side of the screen and you can make money by letting in immigrants!

To move the bus, simply walk into it. You can move it left or right.

CONTROLS:

-WASD to move

-W to leave the bus

-A to leave the left booth, D to leave the right booth.

-Left click to select or place walls and guards. Note that there's a 1-second delay after placing anything before you can place again.

-Right click to de-select whatever you wanted to place.

Good luck, and have fun! This is my first game; I'm quite proud of it.
